The top freezer fridge is a standard refrigerator style - the freezer
positioned above the fridge. This configuration is most commonly sold
to today's market. Size availability ranges from 11 to 22 cubic feet.
Colour selection includes white, bisque, black, stainless steel, or
clean steel. Moreover, with the wide range of shelving options to
choose from, the top freezer style remains the number one choice for
the value-conscious consumer.

The bottom-mount, or bottom freezer-fridge, is a style that has been
making a come back just within the past five years. This style is
ergonically sound (and very convenient) because the fridge is at eye
level - so you don't need to bend down to get something out of the
fridge. Second to that feature is the excellent shelving available with
this unit, which eliminates the problem of having to “dig” to the back
or bottom to find your ice cream!

The side by side refrigerator has the freezer on the left
and the fridge on the right side. Hence the name "side by side." Side by side fridges often
have an ice and water dispenser in the freezer door, which makes filtered water and ice easily accessible.
A newer features now available in side by side fridges is a separation between the freezer and fridge compartment.
This provides a higher level of humidity in the fridge while keeping fruits and vegetables fresher for a
longer period of time.
